Formed in 2005, EDC specialize in Samba, Reggaeton y Salsa!

EDC won 1st place title 'European Reggaeton Champions 2007'. Their innovative choreography has been performed in India, Denmark, Serbia, Finland, and in the Uk in venues and events such as Miss Black Britain, Jazz Cafe, NEC. They have promoted Sagatiba, featured in DJ Lubi's 2004 compilation CD "Urban Latino" (Nascente Records), Nescafe advert, T4 & Iris De Brito, Body Talk DVD to name just a few. EDC are a performance group and also teach across the country and Internationally.

Ella Mesma

Established as one of the premier Samba teachers and dancers of the U.K, Ella is “Rainha Da Bateria 2008” (“Queen Of Samba”) with Britain’s top samba ensemble of the last 2 decades, the London School of Samba. Ella trained and lived in Brasil and danced as a “passista” with one of the local samba schools in the 2006 Rio Carnival! In 2008, she won 3rd place in the “Rainha Da Bateria” competition at the International Samba Festival on Germany! Ella is also a trained contemporary dancer and loves all Latin Dance Styles, enjoying and shining in all of them. Ella has performed and taught worldwide, and is passionate about Brazilian and Latin culture.

It's the ultimate Brazilian dance party with DJ Fred & live bands playing everything from Forro to Pagode to Samba Reggae! Samba is usually played at Carnival time in Brazil; this percussion led style is exuberant, sensual & hypnotising - So if there's a bit of a devil in you, this is the day & place for you!
