Teachers:-

Angelique is one of UK's leading ladies stylists, and a well
known choreographer, teacher and performer. Her all female group came
3rd in the 2005 European salsa championships competing against
partnered couples; and she is the winner of the European bachata
 championship 2007.

She has taught and performed all over Europe, at several events and
congresses, with partners such as Moe Flex, Lanre, Simon and Ian the
technician. Angelique loves to teach and really likes to see her
pupils improve, as well as enjoy themselves.

Sundays has an excellent teaching system, where you can learn to dance
very well, moving up each level gradually These teachers care about
their students. Angelique teaches Ladies styling on a Monday night at
Salsa at 7pm in the mezz room. She also coaches the Nottingham
university performance team along with Ian, On1 and Nottinghams semi
pro performance team Baillamo and will be working on their next
routine along with Dani, On2 She also has an all female On1
performance group at Salsa on a Monday night at 8.30pm, and is soon to
do an On2 performance group in London@ salsa she tells me, once I have
 finished the On1 course.

Ian has recently moved to London after finishing a long and illustrious
career in the Royal Marines. He has served in warzones and many countries
around the world.

He started dancing Salsa whilst serving in Devon back in
2005 and since, has travelled worldwide for his love of the dance. Known
fornbeing a great lead and having one of the clearest explanations of how to
achieve it, Ian is becoming a most sought after teacher in London and the
UK.

He has performed and choreographed for Seraphim Dance Company over the
last 4 years, dancing and teaching with Angelique Sinclaire at many
prestigious events. 'Ian has everything you'd require from a salsa teacher
and performer', Angelique tells me; 'he's knowledgeable about technique,
he's great at explanations, he's inventive choreographically, and has great
projection on stage, as well as a can do attitude. Oh and did I mention
that he is wonderful to dance with socially too'.

Now based in London, Ian isnteaching Salsa and Bachata at all levels. He is a qualified
UKA Club Salsa instructor.

Elena has over 18 years experience in Classical ballet, 4 years of Mambo
Salsa, 7 years experience contemporary dance, jazz and pas de deux. My
education in dance started at the age of six at the Arabesque school
of dance teaching the Royal Academy of Dance method in Italy.
Graduating in May 2004 with a degree in classical ballet.

Through my study time at the Arabesque school of dance, I have
achieved a very good knowledge in the performing arts.

I've been dancing with Associazione Balletto Classico (ABC) for over
two years, performing Coppellia around Italy, Europe and Canada, which
gave me experience and wealth of knowledge in dance and working with a
professional production team and artists.

Throughout my dance career I have won many awards, and taught other
dance students specific dance techniques to increase their dance
ability which I enjoyed immensely.

Oswald (aka Ozy Shyne), of Haitian origin, created Deuce in 1996 and has
been the choreographer since then.

For several years Oswald has trained many talented dancers in hip-hop
and worked with some of the biggest artists all over the world through
his different experiences as a professional dancer.

In 2001, he was crowned World Champion in Street Dance. Since then, he
is widely globally within the Hip Hop scene: he has danced in several
musicals and French television programmes including "Gone With the
Wind", "The 10 Commandments", "Star Academy", and also alongside
international stars including Eminem, Destiny's Child, Jay Z, and many
other artists music videos and on stage.

In 2002, he realized his childhood dream of starring in a movie,
directed by Blanca Li "Le Defi", enabling him to express his talents as
a dancer and an actor. Following this experience, he was contacted by
Marc Jolivet and offered the main role in a French TV movie "Concours de
dance a Piriac.

He discovered Salsa in the same year and feels he has a real connection
and passion for this dance. Today, Ozy is one of the rising stars of
Salsa and he still continues his hip-hop career doing workshops and
being invited to many different projects around the world.

With Deuce, the Salsa scene was exposed to a musical and artistic
diversity marked by an urban style. Since 2005, Ozy’s choreographies
reflect the variety of dance styles learned during his career: hip hop,
jazz, contemporary, African, Zouk, dance-hall, mambo and on1 and on2,
cha cha cha Etc… Deuce, with Ozy, continue to attend various European
congresses to present its different shows: The Crash, Heaven, El Pintor,
Yelele and Darkness - a beautiful cha cha cha show danced solo, or as a
partner work, where technique and fluidity mix with elegance. Each show
will take you into a different universe.

Dani K is one of the new innovators in the salsa scene. One could say that
dancing with Dani allows you to discover another way to appreciate salsa
dancing. His main quality is finding different ways to explore the
unlimited possibilities to lead and make his partner comfortable whilst
interpreting the music.

From the French Indian ocean’s island (Mayotte), Dani start dancing on
stage at the age of 11, and grew up with R’n’B, Hip hop and Zouk,
singing and dancing. He started dancing Cuban salsa 6 years ago in
Bordeaux. After 6 months, his teacher asked him to join his salsa
company, after one year he became a salsa teacher in the same club where
he'd learnt his first steps, and after two years he formed his first
salsa group, including his first teacher ;-) Dani is just one of those
young dancers who always looks forward to learning. One of his favorite
quotations is : “Dance is like knowledge, the more you learn the more
you realize that you have a lot to learn again and again”.

Dani is now widely recognized in the Paris salsa scene for his
abilities. From February 2008 he decided to start a new life in London
and become one of our main LONDON-SALSA teachers as well as a
choreographer and performer. His classes and workshops have always been
very popular and professional, specializing in Mambo (on1 & on2),
amazing partnerwork technique, leading, timing class, and musicality,
blended together with his background of street dance, New York, Cuban,
LA style, and fun to create his own unique salsa style.

Dani is one of the new innovators in the salsa scene. One could say that
dancing with Dani allows you to discover another way to appreciate salsa
dancing. His main quality is finding different ways to explore the
unlimited possibilities to lead and make his partner comfortable whilst
interpreting the music.
