Salsa with Susana Montero & Super Mario

7pm-8pm: Beginners I / Advanced
8pm-9pm: Beginners II / Improvers / Intermediates

Lesson cost is £5 per hour or £8 for both lessons.

Club admission: £4 after 9pm



Susana Montero
Established as one of the premier teacher/dancer/choreographers of the U.K. Susana has been dancing since the age of five, including Ballet for fifteen years, Jazz, Contemporary, and Afro Cuban, and for the last six years, Salsa, enjoying and excelling in all of them.

Her honours/awards include:
2004 - Nominated to be honoured with an award for her contribution to the world salsa scene (Los Angeles).
2004 - Performed along side Eddie Palmieri in London.
2004 - Honoured with a sought after award in Torino Salsa Congress (Italy).
2003 - Performed along side Oscar De Leon in Los Angeles.
2002 - Award for her contribution to Salsa presented by Seriously Salsa, received at the the 2002 British Salsa Congress
2000 - U.K. Bacardi Salsa Champion
1999 - Award for her contribution to Salsa presented by Salsa y Mambo
1999 - Voted Best Female Teacher by Salsa y Mambo
1998 - U.K. Salsa Champion

Super Mario, also known as the Million Moves Man, is increasingly becoming a recognisible figure in the salsa scene. He has taught at a number of respected salsa festivals around the world ...

He is also expanding his teaching skills through successful workshops in countries ranging from the U.S.A (North Carolina, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Pittsburgh and Washington DC) to Europe (Austria, Belgium, France, Holland, Turkey, Spain, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Scotland, Ireland and Luxembourg) and as far as Australia (Melbourne). He has just finished a successful 10 city tour of Japan (June 2002). And this year (2002) has been asked to teach at the First International Festival in San Francisco in November, and Honalulu, Hawaii in January 2003.
His Television Appearances include The Vanessa Show, Wired, The Nickleodion Club and was involved in teaching the EastEnders cast for a special episode.

Super Mario is based in London, and has been dancing salsa since 1998. He specialises in Cross Body style, dancing on the "1", focusing mainly on Moves and Combinations, with a lot of emphasis on Leading Techniques.
